Four killed in two-vehicle crash in Palmdale area
PALMDALE, Calif. (FOX 11/CNS) - Two adults and two young children were killed on Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in the Palmdale area.
A sedan and an Antelope Valley Transit Authority vanpool vehicle were involved in the collision, which occurred about 10:25 a.m. at Sierra Highway and East Avenue M.
According to coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter, three people died at the scene: a man about 20-25 years old; a woman about 20-25; and a girl about 1-2 years old. Another girl, about a year old, died at a hospital, Winter said.
Their names were withheld, pending notification of relatives. Their relationships to one another were not immediately known.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
