Former foster youth share exit from foster care in Amazon Prime documentary

LOS ANGELES - "We Gotta Get Outta Here." The title alone is visual and gripping. 

The emotional and heart-wrenching road from foster care to the real world is detailed in this documentary on Amazon Prime. It features five youth, including Tyraughn Barnett.

When he was 13 years old he and a brother were featured on FOX 11's Wednesday's Child foster care segment. He exited the foster care system and landed in a group home for adults.

The documentary was directed by Jen Araki. She befriended Ty, now in his 20s, and has him spend summer vacation and Christmas with her family in Canada.
