Fontana PD, CHP Units Arrest Suspect In Stolen Car Pursuit

The chase eventually went onto the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway and into Los Angeles County, and the CHP's Los Angeles traffic office was notified about 9 a.m. The driver exited in Monrovia and went onto Mountain Avenue and Huntington Drive, at one point leading officers through a gas station.

About 9:20 a.m., the driver entered Loma Lisa Lane, which is off of Foothill Boulevard, and came to a stop at the end of the cul-de-sac, where the motorist surrendered, the CHP reported.

A woman passenger was taken into custody for questioning. The driver will probably face charges that include felony evading and vehicle theft, a CHP officer said.
