Firefighters battling massive fire in Riverside County; evacuations lifted

WINCHESTER, CA (FOX 11) - Firefighters are battling 1,261 acre Patterson Fire in Winchester with forty-percent containment. Several homes were evacuation orders and one unoccupied structure has been destroyed.



Mandatory evacuations were ordered for Hidden Falls Road and Vista Road.

Twenty-three engines and three helicopters are battling this brushfire.
