Fire damages Denny's restaurant in La Habra

LA HABRA (CNS) - A fire on Friday heavily damaged a Denny's restaurant in La Habra, but no one was hurt.

The fire was reported at 1150 S. Beach Blvd. about 5:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The flames were extinguished after about an hour. Investigators were seeking the cause of the fire, which burned through the roof over the building's center section, which was gutted. A damage estimate was not immediately available.
