Father and teen son robbed after responding to online ad for Kanye West shoes

A 16-year-old La Puente teen and his father agreed to meet with the woman who posted about a pair of Adidas Yeezy Boost shoes, according to Pasadena Police Lt. Mark Goodman. He said the price tag was $1,000.

The sellers and prospective buyers met on Hammond Street and Sunset Avenue in Pasadena. The seller was also joined by a man who produced a handgun and demanded money, Goodman said.

He said the victims dropped the money and ran. They called police.

Officers searched the area but didn't find the robbers.

One suspect was described as a black woman, about 20, with a light complexion, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with dark brown and red hair, a thin build and weighing 120 pounds. She wore glasses.

The second suspect was described as a black man, about 25, between 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, thin and with a goatee. He wore a white T-shirt, gray sweatpants, a red baseball cap plus carried a semi-automatic handgun and a black backpack.
