ER evacuated at Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital after report of liquid nitrogen spill
MARINA DEL REY, Calif. (FOX 11) - Fire crews responded Monday morning to Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital after liquid nitrogen reportedly spilled near the emergency room facility.
Los Angeles fire crews were called around 9:30 a.m. on a report of a 100-foot area of spilled liquid nitrogen at the hospital, located at 4650 Lincoln Boulevard.
The emergency room was evacuated as a precaution while a hazardous materials team worked to clear the scene.
No injuries were reported.
Los Angeles fire officials said anyone in need of emergency care was being diverted to a nearby hospital.
