Employee shot during robbery at Buena Park Doughnut Shop

BUENA PARK, Calif. (FOX 11/ CNS) - An employee of a Buena Park doughnut shop was shot and wounded today during a robbery, authorities said.

The crime occurred about 1 a.m. Wednesday at Moodoo Donuts, in the 5400 block of Beach Boulevard, according to the Buena Park Police Department.

The man was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

The employee was serving a customer when a man with a gun jumped behind the counter and demanded cash. During a struggle, the robber fired a shot and wounded the worker.

Police are reviewing security video.
