Emotional reunion between dog and owner after being rescued from 40-foot deep snow bridge
(FOX 11) - Rescue workers in Utah pulled a dog out of a 40-foot deep snow bridge.
This is video of the emotional reunion between the dog and its owner on Sunday.
Rescuers spent nearly five hours working to pull the 60 pound dog out of the snow.
Crews had to dig a hole through the snow for access.
A team member was then lowered down to reach the dog.
The snow bridge was apparently created by an avalanche over a local waterfall.
Officials say the dog was cold and had some soft tissue damage, but no broken bones or other serious injuries.
