'Drawn to Serve': Mother-daughter team paint portraits of WWII veterans

A mother-daughter team of artists in Los Angeles are drawing portraits of World War II veterans in an effort to honor their service and raise money for an important cause.

Veterans were sitting for their portraits Friday at the CalVet Veterans Home, done by Stacy and Jacqueline Kamin.

The "Drawn to Serve" project aims to raise money for a new van to help veterans get to and from appointments with the medical aid they need. Click here for more information.

The public can see the portraits Saturday at the CalVet building, located at 11500 Nimitz Avenue in West LA.
