Dog stolen during residential burglary is in desperate need of seizure medication, deputies say

Deputies in San Dimas are asking for the public's help locating a missing dog that was stolen during a residential burglary last week.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department San Dimas station, "Teddy," a 13-year-old Bichon Frise, was stolen from his owner's home on May 15 in the 1100 block of Camino Del Sur.

The burglars who stole Teddy ransacked the home and took some of their personal belongings as well, according to the sheriff's station.

Teddy reportedly suffers from seizures and requires seizure medication daily. He was last seen wearing a royal blue harness with ID tags and is also microchipped.

"We know it's a long shot but Teddy is in need of his medication," the sheriff's department said.

If you happen to locate him, please call the San Dimas Sheriff's station at 909-450-2700.
