Crews battle 2-acre brush fire in Malibu

MALIBU (CNS) - Firefighters on Friday battled a wind-fueled fire that quickly scorched more than two acres of brush in the Malibu area.

The fire was reported early this afternoon near Latigo Canyon Road and Pacific Coast Highway, according to the county fire department.

Crews reported winds of about 30 mph at the scene of the fire, which was burning uphill.
