'Cracker Barrel' opening first California location in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, CA (FOX 11) - The Tennessee-based casual dining chain will open its very first California restaurant in Victorville, February 2018.

Victorville will be Cracker Barrel's 649th location when it opens. Currently, the chain owns and operates all of its restaurants and is located in 42 states.

The restaurant will be located on a 5-acre lot along the city's 'Restaurant Row.' The former plot was used annually as a pumpkin and Christmas tree lot.

Cracker Barrel, which is widely popular in the South and Midwest, is known for its homestyle cooking and its 'general store' section that sells toys, games and other knick-knacky items.
