Court rules in favor of Los Angeles in lawsuit against feds

(FOX 11) - The immigration battle making national headlines takes center stage in L.A.

There is no love lost between the Trump administration and the City of Los Angeles.The latest example came this morning when A federal judge ruled in LA 's favor against the Trump administration 's attempt to withhold federal grant money for the LAPD community policing program unless the department pledged it's cooperation with ICE immigration efforts.

L.A. said it will police the city the way it knows best and the Feds don't have the right to interfere, and can't use federal grant money as a "weapon." This ruling isn't just for LA Either, it applies nationally…

The next move is Washington's.
