Christmas carols synced to bright light display in Laguna Niguel
(FOX 11) - Christmas carols synced to a larger than life light display is what's in store for spectators at a Laguna Niguel home on Hillhurst Drive.
Homeowner Michael Vinci started his holiday light show six years ago and it keeps growing.
"When we started we had about 3,000 lights," he said. "Now we have about 24,455 lights."
It also takes him four weeks to put up everything, but whose counting?
All that matters to Vinci is that his lights brighten the holidays for families.
"I think I spend as much time looking out the window checking on the people having so much fun than I do putting all this stuff up," he said.
Vinci wants those who come to look at his home at 23853 Hillhurst Drive to get out of their cars and interact with the display.
He's hidden surprises within it that pop out with the push of a button.
"We also have a snowman that we thought having a snowman produce snow would be fantastic for the children," he said.
Vinci's display runs through New Year's Eve from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
On weekends, Santa is also known to come visit.
