Christine Devine celebrates 25 years at FOX 11

Christine Devine has been with FOX 11 for an incredible 25 years, and we decided to surprise her with a special segment looking back on the contribution she's made to our news family as well as the greater Los Angeles community.

As a veteran reporter and anchor, Christine has covered LA's biggest news stories, including earthquakes, elections and the LA Riots.

She's also helped more than 700 children in foster care find families as the host of Wednesday's Child adoption segment. She was even asked to be the godmother of one of the children!

If you follow Christine on social media, you'll see that she's very active within the community. Her passion is empowering young people to believe in themselves, and even on her off days, she's always doing something to positively impact the lives of those around her.

If you read her bio on our website, you'll find a long list of awards and recognitions she's received.

Between 16 Emmys, having a major role in connecting children with forever families as well as offering wisdom to fellow news friends -- it's clear her career is one to be celebrated.

Christine Devine is one of the kindest people I've ever met in this business. Watching this special about her 25 years...
