Child shot on 15 freeway in Phelan, San Bernardino County

PHELAN, Calif. (FOX 11) - Police in Phelan, in unincorporated San Bernardino County, are investigating a shooting that injured a child.

The child was shot on the 15 freeway near Cleghorn just south of the 138 highway. The incident happened at about 8:45 p.m. Thursday.

The age and condition of the child are unknown at this time.

No further details were immediately known.
