Carol Burnett, other TV legends of comedy honored at Paley Center

Carol Burnett was one of five TV comedy legends and trailblazers honored at a special star-studded tribute hosted by the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills Thursday evening.

Other honorees included Norman Lear, Lily Tomlin, Carl Reiner, and Bob Newhart.

The award recognizes their enduring impact on television comedy.

Among those gracing the Red Carpet were stars, Barbara Eden, Jane Seymour, Bob Mackie, and Jimmie Walker.

The event will help in the creation of the Paley Center's comedy collection of programs spanning eight decades of comedy on television.
