(FOX 11) - Legislation to reform the bail bond industry is moving forward in Sacramento despite strong opposition.

California state legislators are looking into the possibility of getting rid of the current cash bail system in California. Critics say the current bail system favors people with money and victimizes the poor.

FOX 11's Gina Silva reports.
