3 dead in 91 Freeway crash
Three people were killed after a semi-truck slammed into a disabled vehicle on the eastbound lanes of the 91 Freeway in Buena Park, officials said.
BUENA PARK, Calif. - Three people were killed in a crash involving a semi-truck on the 91 Freeway early Friday morning, authorities said.
Officials with the California Highway Patrol said a solo-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck was reported on the eastbound lanes of the Freeway at Valley View Street in Buena Park around 4 a.m.
A short time later, investigators said a big rig struck the disabled pickup truck.
When first responders arrived at the scene, three adults inside the pickup truck were declared dead. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.

The crash comes as rain made for slick roadways across Southern California.
A SigAlert was in effect for hours after all eastbound lanes of the eastbound 91 Freeway except for the slow lane.
All lanes reopened by 10:45 a.m.
The names of the crash victims have not been released.
