Bringing Back Business: Katie May

Katie May, a designer who sells bridal wear to high-end department stores and boutiques is offering its surplus of dresses at deeply discounted prices starting Friday.

The Los Angeles-based designer was left with a large inventory of dresses after the coronavirus crisis canceled and postponed wedding plans for countless numbers of couples.

The designer spent the last few months making face masks and donating thousands of them to frontline workers.

She is now offering its bridesmaid and special occasion dresses for just $150.  The sale begins online at 9 a.m. Friday June 19.

A portion of proceeds will be donated to Color of Change, an organization that works to battle injustice.
