Authorities seeking information about kitten thrown into street from car in El Segundo

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - Authorities are seeking information about a person who threw a kitten from a car into traffic in El Segundo.  

The suspect threw the cat out of the car on Monday about 9:25 a.m.into the street near Continental Boulevard and Grand Avenue, where it was hit by another car, according to the El Segundo Police Department.  

Information was not immediately available regarding the animal's injuries.
