Authorities searching for three armed suspects seen on surveillance robbing doughnut shop
NORWALK, Calif. (FOX 11) - Authorities were searching for three armed suspects seen on surveillance video robbing a Norwalk doughnut shop.
Deputies responded to the business, located in the 10900 block of Rosecrans Avenue just before 9 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities believe all three suspects entered through the front entrance of Randy Donuts. All three were seen on surveillance video jumping over the counter, where two of the robbers ripped two cash registers out of the wall.
The third suspect allegedly pointed a silver handgun at one of the employees, deputies said. The other employee who was in the store at the time hid in the kitchen during the robbery.
The suspects reportedly exited through the rear of the shop, where they got into a four-door silver sedan and speed off northbound down Studebaker Road.
No physical injuries were reported.
Deputies said the robbers stole approximately $400.
