Author of 'The Big Book of Tricks for the Best Dog Ever' says you can teach pets almost any trick

Every dog owner thinks their pet is special. We all know your smart pup can sit, stay and roll over. But think how impressed your house guests would be if your dog opened the door to greet them, closed the door behind them and then bowed to say hello!

All that is possible and more says Larry Kay. He's the author of, 'The Big Book of Tricks for the Best Dog Ever.' He joined us along with master trainer Chris Perondi and special guest Vinny Valentino who showed our viewers some neat tricks in the video above!

Kays says, 'You can teach an old dog new tricks too.' It's not just for young pups.

You can meet Larry and master trainer Chris Tuesday night in Mission Viejo, where they'll be launching their book.

It's at six p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Center on Veterans Way in Mission Viejo.
