Assemblymember proposes ways to make parking easier

Assemblyman Mike Gatto is proposing a package of reforms to make parking madness in California less painful. It includes being able to park your car immediately after street sweeping, enabling high tech meters to have different prices depending on the time of day, not being fined for tickets received on a stolen vehicle, and preventing valet drivers from blocking parking spots.

Gatto's bills are still in their early stages and haven't been voted on. They're expected to be heard by a committee next week.
