Arson investigation underway in Long Beach after three suspicious fires
LONG BEACH, Calif. - Investigators believe there is an arsonist on the loose in Long Beach. Three fires were set Tuesday night within minutes of each other.
At 10:30 p.m., firefighters were battling a blaze at a cardboard compactor when a call came in thirty minutes later reporting a minivan on fire in Downtown Long Beach on Linden Avenue and Market Street. The third blaze was just around the corner in a dumpster behind Tams Burgers on Atlantic Avenue.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators believe all three fires are connected.
