Apple previews new emoji on World Emoji Day

Apple is previewing new emoji coming later this year in celebration of World Emoji Day.

CEO Tim Cook shared a GIF on Twitter writing, "Happy #WorldEmojiDay ! We've got some new ones to show you, coming later this year!"

According to the company's website some of the new emoji include Woman with Headscarf, Bearded Person and Breastfeeding, and food items such as Sandwich and Coconut.

The exact date for the release has not yet been announced.
