Allegiant offers free flights to Las Vegas shooting victims' families

Air carrier Allegiant is offering free flights for family members of those killed and injured in Sunday night's mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Allegiant is based in Las Vegas and said it was "heartbroken" by the tragedy and hoped the assistance with flights could help people out.

Anyone in need of assistance should contact the airline via email at communications@allegiantair.com.

Allegiant is also allowing people who had flights this week to Las Vegas to change their plans with no fees.

The airline is also checking on customers already in Las Vegas who booked flight and hotel packages and are staying at the Mandalay Bay or nearby properties. It's offering to help re-accommodate them if they would like to move.
