TARZANA, Calif. (FOX 11/ CNS) - Police are investigating an attack on actor Corey Feldman in which he said someone stabbed him in Tarzana while he was at a red light.
The attack occurred around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Reseda and Ventura boulevards, according to Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Division.
Feldman, who was driving, was stopped at a red light with a passenger in the car when an unknown suspect opened the driver's side door and made stabbing motions with an unknown object toward Feldman's abdomen, police said.
Feldman took himself to the hospital and was in stable condition, according to Madison.
Feldman's passenger was uninjured.
A description of the assailant was not immediately available.
