2 women found dead at Acton home
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. - A homicide investigation was underway after two women were found dead at a home in Acton on Sunday evening, authorities said.
Officials with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said Palmdale Station deputies conducted a welfare check at a home located in the 2400 block of Soledad Canyon Road in the unincorporated community around 5:35 p.m.
When deputies arrived at the scene, a person of interest was detained at the home. Deputies also found two women who were determined to be unconscious and they were declared dead by LA County Fire paramedics.
Their cause of death is being investigated by the LA County Medical Examiner’s Office.
