A first look at the LAX automated 'People Mover'
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - We're getting our first look at LAX's future automated people mover.
The airport has just released this video.
The elevated train will connect the airport's terminals to parking and rental car complexes as well as Metro's Crenshaw and Green Line subways.
The People Mover will run 24-hours a day along a two-and-a-quarter mile track.
Rides will be free.
Ground-breaking on the project is scheduled later this year with the grand opening expected to happen in 2023.
