8 cars damaged in possible street racing crash in Reseda

Police are investigating Thursday if street racing led to a crash that damaged eight cars on a street in Reseda.

Los Angeles Police officers received a call of a two-car crash near the intersection of Saticoy Street and Wilber Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and were told by witnesses that the drivers of two cars racing lost control and hit six parked cars, news outlets reported.

One of the drivers was taken to the hospital in critical condition and the other tried to run from the scene but was held by neighbors until police arrived. That driver was arrested for hit-and-run.
