7-year-old child, man dead in Garden Grove

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (FOX 11/CNS) - Detectives are investigating the deaths of a 7-year-old child and a man at a home in Garden Grove.

Officers were dispatched at 8:58 a.m. Saturday to the 12400 block of Meade Street regarding a possible suicide, where the calling party had entered the residence earlier and pulled the 7-year-old child out of the home, according to
Garden Grove police Lt. Tom DaRe.

Officers entering the home found a man dead. The child was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, DaRe said.

``The incident is currently being investigated and no further details can be provided at this time," he said.
