7 parked cars damaged in 'Domino effect' crash in South L.A.
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - Authorities were investigating a crash involving seven parked cars on Sunday night in South Los Angeles.
The crash happened just before 11 p.m. near the intersection of Imperial Highway and Slater Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's South Traffic Division. Authorities said that the driver of a vehicle traveling westbound on the Imperial Highway struck a parked car and then ricocheted into another car traveling in the same direction. Like a pinball, that car then swerved back into another parked vehicle, striking seven parked vehicles altogether.
When officers arrived they found two occupants with minor injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash. At this time, no charges have been filed.
