3-year-old boy stands for over two hours to honor fallen officer, says the pledge of allegiance
FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. - A 3-year-old boy made sure a fallen officer got the respect she deserved as he stood for over two hours and said the pledge of allegiance during the processional.

After his honorable display, Cohen was given a gift by the Floyd County Sheriff's Office. He enjoyed showing off his new mini Sheriff's vehicle, complete with the Floyd County name.
Detective Kristen Hearne, a mother and 5-year veteran of the Polk County Police Department, was gunned down in the line of duty and laid to rest in early October.
Hearne was helping a rookie officer on a stolen vehicle call along Santa Claus Road near Parrish Road just before 6 a.m. Police then said a man and woman walked out of the woods.
A spokesperson for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Seth Brandon Spangler, 31, spoke briefly with Hearne and Officer David Goodrich before he unexpectedly opened fire, striking both officers.
Cohen made sure to honor Detective Hearne and how support for law enforcement.
