3 killed in Big Bear plane crash identified
BIG BEAR, Calif. - Three people are dead in a small plane crash in Big Bear.
The Big Bear Fire Department responded to a call of a downed aircraft near Paradise Way and Maltby Boulevard around 2 p.m. Monday.
All three people on board were killed in the crash, firefighters say. They have been identified as 60-year-old Stormie Seibold of Temecula, 62-year-old Jimmy Fitzpatrick of Perris, and 79-year-old Robert Carty of Lake Havasu, Arizona. Seibold was the registered owner of the plane.
The cause of the deadly crash remains under investigation.
