2 women killed, 4 others injured in Beverly Hills crash
BEVERLY HILLS (FOX 11 / CNS) - Two women were killed and four other women were injured in a solo-vehicle DUI crash Thursday morning in Beverly Hills, police said.
The crash was reported at 1:23 a.m. in the area of Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards, said Beverly Hills police Sgt. Andrew Myers.
Some of the women were ejected from the vehicle, Myers said. All of them were taken to a hospital, where two of them died, Myers said. The others' injuries range from minor to critical, Myers said.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and will be booked when her condition permits, police said.
The intersection was closed for several hours while an investigation was conducted but reopened before 7 a.m.
