15-year-old teen accused of stabbing 2 people at Fontana home
FONTANA, Calif. (FOX 11) - A 15-year-old boy has been detained by police in Fontana after being accused of stabbing two people before riding away from the scene on a bicycle.
Fontana police say the teenage suspect stabbed an 11 or 12-year-old boy and a woman about 20-22 years old. The woman suffered the most severe injuries, according to police.
The stabbing occurred at a home in the 13700 block of Sunrise Street at about 12 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators say the 15-year-old suspect has a diminished mental capacity and knew the victims. It's unknown if the victims are relatives or friends.
Police are working to determine the cause for the stabbing.
Fontana authorities did not immediately release additional details regarding this case.
