The robbery occurred around 11 p.m. Tuesday at a Pizza Hut in the 900 block of East Yorba Linda Boulevard, Placentia police Lt. Eric Point said.
Point said a man armed with a black handgun jumped the front counter, grabbed a clerk and demanded cash. After taking the money, the robber ran from
the restaurant, the clerk told police.
A boy of about 11 - wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses and a t-shirt with a red print -- held the front door open for the robber and ran off with
him, Point said.
The suspect was described as black, 6 feet 4, 180 pounds, wearing a dark baseball cap, sunglasses, a bandana across the lower part of his face, and a
gray track suit.
The pair escaped with $100 in cash, Point said.
