LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - In the wake of this week's devastating Mexico earthquake, everyone should have a plan in case a disaster strikes.
Josh Temple, host of several home improvement shows like DIY Network's "Disaster House," shared his five best tips to keep you and your family safe in an emergency:
-Store water in BPA free waterbricks
-Stock up on at least three days-worth of canned food that your family ordinarily eats
-Keep an "apocalypse box"
-Have a "home fleeing kit" ready to go
-Keep a lock box with cash and important papers
