Transplant recipient encourages others to donate organs ahead of display during Rose Parade
Don?t take your organs to heaven, we need them here ? says Regina Armstrong, a 44-year-old Cedars-Sinai patient from Loma Linda, California. Armstrong is a double transplant recipient, and on New Year?s Day 2020, she will ride the Donate Life float in the Rose Parade. It also marks the one-year anniversary of her kidney transplant, which took place at Cedars-Sinai. Armstrong is encouraging others to register as organ donors, in order to help the 113-thousand people now on the national transplant waiting list.
