Six members of the Haywood County Search and Rescue had to leave their 4WD truck and put on snowshoes to find a stranded hiker who decided to go camping during a winter storm.

Four confirmed tornadoes were reported in Florida on Sunday, causing damage to different parts of the state -- including in Fort Myers and Naples.

A storm brought snow to South and Mid-Atlantic states over the weekend. The Great Lakes, Upstate New York, Vermont and New Hampshire could still see 1-2 feet of snow through Monday.

Weather forecasters say more than an inch of snow fell per hour in some parts of the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia.

The owner can be heard saying: “There’s my snow dog, refusing to come outside…she’s not having it.”
