Developer Rick Caruso launched a new nonprofit organization Monday aimed at accelerating the rebuilding and recovery process for communities impacted by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles.

Gov. Newsom enlisted the help of Dodgers Chairman Mark Walter, LA Lakers legend and businessman Earvin “Magic" Johnson, and LA28 Chairperson Casey Wasserman for the initiative aimed at expediting wildfire recovery efforts.

Although evacuation orders have since been lifted for most of LA County, fire survivors continue to face the road to recovery as they focus on rebuilding.
