The annual event is in partnership with Peace Over Violence, an organization dedicated to building healthy relationships, families, and communities free from sexual, domestic, and interpersonal violence. Since 1999, Peace Over Violence has led the Denim Day campaign as a global show of solidarity and support for survivors. The event in downtown LA featured several speakers including local leaders. The movement was born in response to a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court that overturned a rape conviction based on the victim's jeans being "too tight," implying consent.The 2025 Denim Day theme is ?Use Your Voice.?
