Since 1999, Peace Over Violence has led the Denim Day campaign as a global show of solidarity and support for survivors. The event in downtown LA featured several speakers including local leaders. The movement was born in response to a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court that overturned a rape conviction based on the victim's jeans being "too tight," implying consent.The 2025 Denim Day theme is ?Use Your Voice.?
