Poet and Hamilton High School senior, Della Dragon, looks forward to returning to class
Garfield High School hosted LAUSD's Welcome Back to School Opening Address. It was a wonderful event filled with inspiring moments. Like Della Dragon's poem about coming back to in-person learning. Della is a senior at Hamilton High, and she perfectly captured the anxiety, the excitement, and the uncertainty of so many students heading back to class.

Adaptive bicycles are unique and expensive but desperately in need. During the pandemic kids with special needs couldn?t get the therapy session they needed and turned to activities like cycling as a much needed physical outlet. We talk to two organizations that need help getting more adaptive bicycles for kids who need them the most and who can talk about the benefits of getting these kids mobile.
