Man finds World Series tickets listed on StubHub for $9 bucks each

(FOX 11) - If you want a ticket to the World Series game, you have to be prepared to shell out. hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. But one Los Angeles man was able to go to Wednesday night's game for less than 20 dollars.

"$9 World Series tickets are a steal, I mean I don't know how else to put it," said Jordan Benedict who paid only $18.16 for two tickets to Wednesday night's electrifying World Series Game.

"I was like what?! So I had to buy them, like who knows what is going to happen, you have to make that purchase right.

He found the unbelievable deal on Stub Hub and decided to roll the dice. As you can he imagine, he was skeptical after his purchase so he contacted customer serice

"It was more alerting of is this real? Will I be able to use this and did I actually just buy tickets to the World Series for $18?

They verified the tickets but also told him the tickets would have to be refunded due to seller error.

"They gave the tickets back to the seller. Stubhub called me and said since this was so unprecedented they were going to honor the fact I had actually bought these tickets and they gave me two other tickets in the right field pavilion."

He says Stub Hub honored the $9 price and gave him two other tickets.

"I was like I won, this is incredible, typically ticketing places don't really get a good rap, you feel like some one is taking advantage but I'm singing their praises."

Of course, he says only one other thing could have made this a true Cinderella story.

"Four hours, extra innings, home runs galore, just such highs, then lows, then highs again, then lows. I really wish they would have won but the energy in the stadium was amazing."

And that he says was priceless. Jordan did end up buying a parking pass for $121 dollars, but when you get tickets that are running up to $3,00p for $9 dollars, paying for parking seems like nothing.

Jordan says he's been trying his luck searching for other cheap tickets but so far, this looks like a once in a lifetime deal.
