In Depth: Super Rams fans for Super Bowl LIII

The Los Angeles Rams face the Boston Patriots in Super Bowl 53. Whether you view this as a clash of the Titans, youth vs experience or whatever it has particularly brought good feelings to Inglewood where the Rams new stadium is about 60% complete. In this week's show we are all about the Rams, the team's Super Fans and the Super Bowl!

Also, in this program Hal is joined by three SUPER fans! They are Cat Olivarez, Daniel Palma and Julian Garcia.

SEGMENT ONE:

Inglewood Mayor James Butts will be one of many fans glued to Super Bowl 53 because what happens in that game could have positive implications for his city. He was a force behind bringing the team and a massive stadium to Inglewood.

In this segment he talks about how this year's success is affecting his city and Inglewood's reinvention or as he puts it, "the city, like a Phoenix, is rising from the ashes!"

He explains why. SUPER fans Cat Olivarez, Daniel Palma and Julian Garcia reflect on the Mayor's comments and how the Southern California Rams Booster Club played a role on shining a light on Rams-Love in LA.

They believe they encouraged Rams owner Stan Kronke to make the call to move the team from St. Louis to Los Angeles.

SEGMENT TWO:

A look at Rams-Mania! From Randy's Donuts to local mom and pop shops there's a sense of anticipation about the Super Bowl and how that might impact on local businesses. But, locals already know the team's presence will have a impact.

One of the best examples is a 7-11 store across from the stadium. It's owner expects an annual increase in business of another 4 to 5 million dollars. Amin Badrudin has a great story about how the team's move has changed his life. Our SUPER Fans reflect on Badrudin's good fortune and that of local businesses.

SEGMENT THREE:

A deeper conversation with our SUPER Fans about their love of this team!

SEGMENT FOUR:
