Woman fatally struck by vehicle in Pacoima
PACOIMA, Calif. - A woman was struck and killed by a van that rolled over in the Pacoima area, authorities said.
Paramedics were dispacthed to the 11000 block of North San Fernando Road around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for reports of a rolled over vehicle.
The Los Angeles Fire Department says the vehicle struck an individual, possibly in a homeless encampment, killing them instantly.
The motorist was not injured and was able to get out of the overturned vehicle without assistance.
