Woman calls 911 over a pizza order dispute

HARTFORD, CT We all know the 911 is for emergencies only, but a woman in Connecticut dialed the number in regards to a pizza emergency.

"Hi, I have a question," the caller said to the 911 operator. "If I order a pizza and they don't want to give me my money back can you guys do something?"

The caller went on to tell the Hartford Police that she received the wrong toppings on her pizza. The dispatcher informed her that this was not a police matter.

"So I called them back and they don't want to give my money back. They keep hanging (up) on me," she said.

The pizza place says the woman ate half the pizza then demanded her money back.

Police say calls like these tie up the line for real emergencies when lives may be in danger.
